7 Ways to Open Windows Task Manager

In this tutorial, you will learn seven ways to open task manager. Task manager is a computer program that is used to provide information about process and programs running on your computer. Task manager can be open for many purposes. People uses task manager many times but, what to do when a virus disable Ctrl + Alt + Del key?







Mostly people use to open task manager with Ctrl + Alt+ Del which is the most common key to open task manager. But, people don’t even know that there are many other keys to open task manager. I have written 7 ways to open task manager.
Ctrl + Alt + Del




Press these three keys together to open task manager which is the most common method.
Ctrl + Shift + Esc




It is another way to open task manager. Press these three keys together. It is one of the easiest way to open task manager
From Task bar




Right-click on the task bar that is located at bottom of the screen and select Task Manager from the context menu. This will open Task Manager.
Run




Run is an command in windows that is used to open any application directly with the command. Click on Start and then search/click on run. After opening run, type taskmgr and hit enter.
Searching TaskMgr




This is the longest way to open task manager but, i had to tell you and I am telling you. Click on start and then select My Computer. Now type TaskMgr in the search box located at top right of your window. If you are not using Windows XP, then click on search button at menu bar and search Taskmgr. After getting the search result, open the file taskmgr.exe
Browsing to taskmgr




Go to My computer >> C:/ >> Windows >> System 32. Find the file taskmgr.exe and open it.
Creating a shortcut in desktop




Right-click on desktop and select New>> Shortcut. A new window will popup titled “New shortcut”. Type C:/windows/system32/taskmgr.exe in location and click on next. Now type Task Manager in the name field and click on Finish.
