Mastering the keyboard will increase your navigation speed and saves your lot of time. I always recommend you to use keyboard shortcuts in every session because keyboard shortcuts are very helpful and saves a lot of time. Here are some special keyboard shortcuts that you don’t know. These keyboard shortcuts will make you the Keyboard ninja.

Keyboard Shortcuts
I am going to tell you guys keyboard shortcuts in two categories which are, Global Keyboard shortcuts and Windows Explorer shortcuts. You will learn keyboard shortcuts here in both of these categories. Keep reading this article to learn them.
Global Keyboard Shortcuts
So, now, take a look at Global keyboard shortcuts first then we will learn Windows Explorer shortcuts.
- Windows Key + 1, 2, 3, 4, etc
Press windows key and any button to launch the item in your quick launch bar. This will launch each program in your quick launch bar. It is very helpful and save your time. When you start to work then, move a program shortcut to the quick launch bar so, you will be able to open them right with your keyboard. You will not even have to move your mouse.

- Windows key + Alt + 1, 2, 3, etc
Press this key to jump list for each program in your task bar.

- Windows Key + T
Press this key to cycle through programs that are in your task bar. It is just like when you hover your mouse on a program, a small window will displayed that display the program activity inside it. You will not have to use mouse if you use this key. You can launch the program by pressing the key Space or Enter.

- Window Key + Home
This key will minimize all windows except the current window. It is just like Aero Shake.
- Windows Key + B
Select the system tray. This key is not very useful usually but, is very useful when your mouse stops working.

- Windows key + Esc
This key is just like Alt + Esc. It is a way better than Alt + Esc because it switches the windows the way they are opened.
- Windows Key + Pause/Break
Press this key to open system properties. It is very helpful when you want to see computer name, etc.

- Ctrl + Ecs
- Ctrl + Shift + Esc

- Alt + Space
Windows Explorer Shortcuts
Now, take a look at windows explorer shortcuts.
- Alt + Up
Press this key to go back to previous folder. It is an alternative key of backspace.
- Shift + F10
Press this key to open context menu of a file/folder. It is an alternative of right-click.

- Shift + Delete
Press this key to delete the selected file permanently without sending it to recycle bin.
- Ctrl + Shift + N
Press this key to create a new folder in your current directory.
- Alt + Enter
Press this key to view properties of selected file/folder.

- F2
- F3
Press this key to open search window.
- F6
Press this key to cycles objects in current window. In windows explorer, this key will let you cycle through location bar, options bar, left pane and right pane.
- F10
Press this key to toggle through file in menu bar.
